The Seagate 2TB hard drive had issues with reading data.

The drive had MAC FileVault encryption, and although the client provided multiple passwords that he thought could have been used, none of them worked. 

We managed to work out the correct password from the supplied passwords. 

During the data recovery service, we used PC3000 and a head map was created. This was necessary because the drive had bad sectors.

A correct password was used to decrypt the drive data.

We successfully recovered all user data at our London data recovery lab by cloning it, adjusting the file system and rebuilding the data structures which resulted in a successful data recovery.

The Toshiba USB drive experienced read issues and slow access speeds, making the USB interface suboptimal for data recovery. We converted it to a compatible SATA PCB board with a similar controller to the one on the USB PCB board and transferred the ROM information to the SATA PCB.

In PC3000, the service area (firmware) was adjusted, and a head map was created due to one of the heads being weak; the drive also had bad sectors.

We cloned all user data, starting with the good heads and then with the weak head, resulting in successful data recovery.

The drive clicked on read.

Adjusted the firmware with the help of the same firmware from a backup, cloned in PC3000 despite read errors, all data was recovered successfully.

The drive was crashing on attempt to read, one of the magnetic heads was crashing and making a knocking sound. we adjusted the firmware and stabilised the drive on a special equipment, the problem heads was disabled. Majority of the data was recovered.
